Free Shoulder Stand

Flyer Base Spotter
Start from free bird. Start from free bird. Spot the hips and the shoulder of the flyer from one side at the beginning.
Move the arms forward with the ellbows bend 90 degrees ready to reach for the forearms of the base. Slowly bend the knees and let the flyer down towards the ground. Straighten the arms and reach for the flyer shoulders. Slowly transition to the back of the flyer and spot the hips.
Keep the belly engaged and position hands firmly on the forearms with fingers pointing towards the ground. Spread fingers widely and make sure you have a firm grip at the middle of the forearms (not an the elbow). Star to position the flyer in a 90 degrees angle by pushing the hips up so they come over the shoulders. Push into the shoulderblades of the flyer and then slowly let go of the feet when you found a stable position. Be ready to catch the flyer either by hugging around the hips and cartwheel out to the side or gently pushing the flyer back to get onto its feet.
Straddle your legs to help with the balance for the base. Other then that keep the whole body engaged and do not help balancing with the hips. Balance the flyer with the movements of the wrists and shoulders (if needed). Make sure you keep your wrists over your shoulders.
To get out, wait for the base to position the feet at your hips and then fold backwards. Get back up to free bird or connect hands to get up to bird. To get out, move the feet towards the hips of the flyer and catch the flyer when coming down. Point the toes to help the flyer get up into bird or free bird.
