Flyer | Base | Spotter |
---|---|---|
Start standing at Bases head facing your Base. | Flyer stands at your head, you connect hands in peace-finger-grip and Flyer walks to one side of your hips, hands now automatically crossed in the right way. | Stand behind Fyler in goddess pose. |
Connect hands in peace-finger-grip and walk around to one hip of the Base so that your arms are crossed now. | Place your foot on Flyers hip, have your arms loose, supporting but not limiting or blocking Flyer’s arms. | Cross your arms and spot Flyer’s hips, uncrossing arms as Flyer reaches Straddle Bat position. |
Stand side ways to Base and let Base position one Foot on your hip. | Let Flyer lean in and push up the moment Flyer’s weight is in axis. Catch Fyler with the other foot on other hip coming to straddle bat pose. | Spot Flyers hips following the movement in tic toc from behind. |
Lean in (like in Half-moon pose in Yoga) not jumping but leaning and lifting the leg further away from your Base. | Initiate the movement by bending one leg slightly to help Flyer up, straightening it again once Flyer is on and pushing into the opposite arm. | Spot shoulders and hips when Flyer reaches reversed Bird and go back to spotting hips from behind when Flyer is in tic toc again. |
Push into the arms and come down into straddle bat pose moving your legs like a helicopter and not like rainbow, pike a lot once you arrive in the pose. | Once Flyer is up in tic toc pose, try keeping your leg in the center. | Step behind Base to spot Flyers hips when coming back to straddle bat. |
Let Base initiate the tic toc movement by lowering down one foot. Push into the opposite hand and slowly come up into a tic toc pose. | Reconnect hands behind your leg and start rotating Flyer as far inside as possible, straight arms. | |
Gaze is directed forwards and up, arms are straight, core engaged and lower leg heavy. | Catch Flyer in reversed bird with your other Foot on the other hip toes inside. | |
Reconnect one hand behind Base’s leg. | Let Flyer shift weight, reconnect hands in front of your Leg and keep arms straight. | |
Base will turn you into reversed bird while you keep your gaze up, body engaged arms straight. | Rotate Flyer and catch Flyer back in Straddle bat. | |
Once you feel the second foot on your other hip put all your weight into the new foot and come into a tic toc on this foot, again arms straight, lower leg heavy, gaze up, core engaged. | ||
Reconnect hands before Bases leg and come back down into straddle bat controlled by pushing into hands. |
