Monkey Frog

Flyer Base Spotter
Get up in reversed thrown (for further explanation of this pose check our video here). Put Flyer in reversed thrown. (for further explanation of this pose check our video here) Stand at Flyers side, belly and back spotting until Flyer is up in reversed thrown.
Hook your feet tightly and press with your feet against bases legs. Engage your core and legs and try to bend backwards as slowly and controlled as possible. Prepare for a lot of weight coming towards the side of your face by already slightly bringing your legs away from your face. Have your arms outstretched ready to catch Flyers shoulders. If necessary bend your legs a little bit to shorten the way down for the Flyer. Stand at Flyers side, one hand under Flyers shoulderblades, the other at Flyers hips and slowly guide/follow Flyer down. Be aware when trying for the first time things can go pretty fast.
Reach for Bases forearms, your Fingers pointing to your ears. Unhook one leg and tuck it in. Wait for Base to transition a foot to your back before tucking in the second leg. Then, open your legs into a pike straddle and slowly bring your hips forward until they are over your shoulders and you find yourself in a free reversed shoulderstand. Engage your core and try to leave the balancing to the Base. Once Flyer has grabed your arms and has unhooked one leg bring your foot of the same side to the sacrum of the Flyer. Wait for Flyer to unhook the other leg and bring the other foot to Flyer's sacrum as well. Lock your arms and help your Flyer to transition the full weight onto your arms by pushing the Flyer gently towards your head with your feet. Find a stable free reversed shoulderstand. Stand at the side first, spotting the hips of the Flyer, while the unhooking goes on. Once the Flyer rolls forward step behind the Flyer and have your arms under the Flyer's legs close to the hips. Your arms go in direction of the head of the base. Be ready to help stabalize the shoulderstand.
Wait for the Base to tell you that they are there, then engage your core and pike your legs as much as you can, slowly bringing them down onto Base's feet. Hook your own feet in the back of Bases legs. Use your arms to push your upper body up and wait for Base to push you back up into reversed thrown. Done! Once you've found a stable shoulderstand two things happen at the same time: You push your arms slightly out of line away from your head while you bring your legs towards your head outside of your arms. Once your feet are closer to your head than your arms ask Flyer to come down and catch Flyers thighs. Wait until Flyer sits up and push them back up into reversed thrown. You did it! Once a stable shoulderstand has been reached, transition to Flyers side - this is the most tricky moment - have one hand at Flyer's shoulders to protect the head and the other one at the hips, make sure Flyer's head never touches the ground. Once, Flyer has sat up, go back to belly and back spotting from the side. VoilĂ , a monkey frog it is!
