Four Step

Flyer Base Spotter
Start in star position (for further instructions to this pose check our video here) Bring both your legs up straight and together. Then bend a knee of your choice. Bring Flyer into star position (for further instructions to this pose check our video here) and wait till Flyer has bent one knee and is stable. Stand behind Flyer, behind Bases legs and spot Flyer's hips. Be ready to stabalize the whole position.
Push into the arms, engage your core and slowly bring one knee down. You can use your other leg as counter weight if you wish. Try to chose an angle with your knee that offers your Base your shin. Once, you feel the foot of your Base on your shin, push into this new connection and into your arms. Swing your other leg through offering the hollow of the knee. Bend the knee of this new leg and kind of hang into this new connection redistributing all the weight into your arms and your second leg so that base can release their first foot from your shin and bring it to your sacrum. Thereby, press into the arm connection and lift your hips up (don't hang in there.) Once, Flyer has bent a knee, free the foot of the same side. Bend the other leg on which now all the Flyer's weight is to lower Flyer down. Reach for Flyer's shin (1st step). Wait for Flyer to swing second leg through and reach for the hollow of the knee of that second leg (2nd step). Thereby, you come with your free leg from outside, place your foot toes pointing outwards. Straighten that new leg. Then try to bring the foot that was on the shin to Flyers sacrum (3d step). Place it diagonally. Through this whole transition your arms must be fully straight and locked. Try to do the transition in axis with your arms over your shoulders. Once Flyer bends a knee, stand at Flyers side one hand at the shoulders, the other at the hips for the first step. Then, spot around the hips from the side for step 2 and 3. Things can get really messy here and falls usually are fast, so be fully concentrated while spotting.
Once you feel Base's foot in your sacrum slowly come down in a backbend and at the same time keep your hands in contact rotating them to a peacefingergrip. Tuck one leg to find more comfort in your back. Have your ellbows bent and close to your body push your upper body up slightly to help the base to reach your shoulder with their foot (4th step). Wait until they are back in axis and roll your hipps forward over your shoulders. Engage core, push into arms and wait until base steps you back up into star. You made it! Wait for Flyer to come down and change Handgrip at the same time. You can support Flyer's back for a moment by putting the second foot also on the sacrum. Find straight lines with your arms again and place the second foot on Flyer's shoulder (4th step). Find your axis, strong arms and help Flyer roll the hipps up by gently pushing with the foot in the sacrum. Once you got all the weight in one foot bring the second one to Flyer's other shoulder and push back up into star. Done! Spot from the side until Flyer is in backbend and Base has placed a foot on Flyer's shoulder. When Flyer starts rolling the hipps up slowly move to the back of the Flyer, spotting Flyer's hipps the whole time until they are back in star. And another one done!
