This washingmachine is a pretty systematic one so it is important to understand the two basic principles at work. 1. For the foot placement of the Base the pattern is: Toes to toes then heels to heels, toes to toes, heels to heels and so on. The foot is placed "side star like" as well as on the sacrum sometimes but always following this pattern. 2. Whenever Base and Flyer face each other they switch hands.
|Go into bird and get into a reversed inside star (find more instructions about how to get into this pose here) on your left leg, to do it as in the video.||Take Flyer into Bird and then into reversed inside star (find more instructions about how to get into this pose here) on your right leg.||Ask Flyer and Base on which side they will do the sidestar and stand on that side. You stand behind the back of the Flyer spotting hipps and shoulders.|
|Wait until base turns you, free your left hand and reconnect it behind bases legs, with bases hand in a bird kind of a grip. Relax your body, "hang in there" dont try to be to active and move slowly. Once you feel Base's foot on your sacrum roll onto it slowly and controlled, making your legs heavy. Wait for Base to place the new foot on your hipps. Reconnect your right hand in a bird grip and slowly roll onto the new foot into a tic toc side star by making your leg heavy and pushing into the arm connection.||Turn your Flyer so their back is facing you, bring your free foot to their sacrum and place it toes to toes with the foot that is already there, reconnect your right hand behind your legs and wait for Flyer to roll on to the new foot. Turn the Flyer further and place the foot that just got free heels to heels at Flyers hipps ready to catch the Flyer in a tic toc side star position. Reconnect your left hand with Flyers hand in bird grip. Let Flyer roll onto the new foot while both of you press into the arm connection.||For this washingmachine you need to follow the Flyer around. Since Flyer's head is very low most of the time you need to be protecting their head and shoulders at all times moving around them. At the same time it might sometimes be necessary to stabilize the whole thing around Flyers hipps. Especially, if Base and Flyer are trying this trick for the first time, having two spotters might be a good idea, one dedicated to spot the head, the other occupied with stabilization on Flyers hipps.|
|Since you are now facing each other again, switch hands into a peace finger grip and get ready for a ninja star kind of movement. Let the Base turn you and shift your weight from the old foot on your one hipp to the new one on the other hipp, while reconnecting hands behind the legs. Try to stay upright, dont look at the floor. Let Base turn you further, reconnect hands in front, still peace finger grip and roll onto the new foot in your sacrum, making your legs heavy and relaxing into the backbend.||Since you are now facing each other again switch hands to a peace finger grip. Turn Flyer so they face away from your head by rotating your foot as much as possible, try to keep strong arms. Bring your left foot toes to toes with your right foot but on the other leg in a ninja star kind of movement while reconnecting hands in the back of your legs. Let Flyer shift weight onto the new foot and further turn them. Place your now free foot heels to heels on flyers sacrum, connecting hands in peace finger grip in the fron again.||Follow the Flyer and stabilize the whole movement, just like before.|
|Technically you are now facing each other again so switch hands, your right hand is connected with Bases left hand your left hand is free. During the whole Flow try to, whenever you got a free hand, keep that hand next to your head so that the Base can easily find it instead of both of you wildly searching for each others hands. Let Base turn you and reconnect left hand in the back in a bird grip. Relax your body make your legs heavy. Once Base has placed the new foot, roll onto it by making your leg heavy and already thinking of side star and pushing into the arm connection. You are back in the first sidestar. Find your way back into a bird position and you made it!||Turn the Flyer to your right, and since you are facing each other again change hands, thereby Flyers right hand goes into your left. Turn them as much as possible and reconnect hands behind your legs in a bird grip. Place your free foot toes to toes on Flyers hipp. Let Flyer roll onto the new foot and press into the arm connection. Thereby try to get your other foot out in time doing a kind of circle movement. Receive Flyer in side star and bring them back into bird position. Voilà!||Same old for you, walk around, protect the head and stabilize. Be fully conscious all the time things can go down really fast. Spott from the side once back in bird, tadaaa.|
