Start from straddle bat | Start from straddle bat | Stand behind the flyer back with hands under the flyer thighs in a stable goddess pose |
Connect hands with the flyer by using the Peace-Finger-Grip, bend your elbows in a 90 degree angle and keep them close to your chest | Connect hands with the flyer by using the Peace-Finger-Grip, keep your arms straight | Spot flyer hips while follwing the movement up |
Wait for base to initialize the movement by bending one knee, then push up in the opposite hand to roll up onto the foot of the base. | To go up on the right leg, bend the right knee and keep the left leg straight. | Help base to keep weight towards the center of the body |
Right leg goes over the left leg, straighten the right arm and let the left leg come closer to the ground | Together push into left arm, keep left arm straight and strong | Follow the movement back to straddle bat as well as down from tic toc |
Come into a side star position, leg closer to the floor is heavy and hanging. Upper leg is engaged. | Wait for flyer to push him/herself up, then straighten the right leg again and move foot towards the center of your body to keep balance. Keep your left arm straight and let go of the right hand as soon as flyer is stable. | |
Your belly points towards the floor, gaze is to the side. Let go of the left hand once balance is established. | Once flyer starts coming down, get left foot ready to catch the hip of the flyer. | |
Moving back down to straddle bat by reconnecting the hands, keeping elbows close to the chest and slowly moving down by pushing into the hands. Slow and controlled transition. | To go up on the left leg, bend the left knee and keep the right leg straight. | |
Go up on the left leg by repeating the same movements on the other side. | Wait for flyer to push up on this side, straighten the left leg once flyer is up and keep arms straight. Create strong lins with the arms. | |
Get out of the pose by rolling over the foot of the base to land on the foot of the leg that is closer to the ground (cartwheel out). | Get out of the pose by bending the left leg and let the flyer cartwheel out the the side on his/her feet. |
